Hello, the continuity project is developing nicely. The scene which I am going for would remind many of a traditional scene from a spy movie, whereby two indivuals are meeting in order to exchange money for information.

The shooting of scene will take place this weekend nearby my house, two or three of my friends will be involved.

Struggling for concrete ideas on the new task on continuity, think it will be an interview scene of the thriller genre, but thats as much as i know currently. I will give an update tomorrow on any developments.

Evaluation

1) Firstly there is the obvious aspect that I would have liked more shots and more filming time; i feel with more selection of shots to pick from- the acting, filming and fluency of my final piece would be better. This is obviously partially my own fault fault through not managing time better, however it is also down to the fact that myself and my actors have got a lot on and finding any more than a day to do this can be quite challenging.

2) Sound quality. Again this aspect is down to my poor organisation and reactions to events. The noise of the rain possibly drowns a few lines of the scene out. This quite frankly should not of occurred. I should've been more knowledgeable towards the weather firstly, but also i should've switched my shots to big close ups rather than small long shots. Obviously I will learn from this, and it wont happen again.

3) My Personal direction is my final aspect to consider. I feel as if i should've been more strict and demanding towards my friends who were the actors. This obviously something which most people struggle with at first, but also it is a personality problem. I will try to improve my discipline for the next media project.

Hi people, its been a while. Firstly apologies about my first film sequence not being uploaded as of yet- it should be online by tomorrow morning. Despite this i feel as if i should share with you my evaluation today, i learned lots from my first proper directing and filming task. There are many points of improvement which i will shortly discuss, however there is (imo) a lot to build on from my first film sequence. The evaluation is to follow very shortly...
